This is a fantastic venue for all levels of athletes, whether you are a beginner or have completed numerous triathlons. For the intermediate and elite, it is a great opportunity to set a new PR. Athletes will have a choice of sprint or olympic distance triathlon, sprint aquabike, or can choose to participate in an olympic-distance relay. Sprint distances - the swim is a 500-meter loop, the ride is on county roads for a 14-mile bike ride with enough low rollers to keep it interesting. Racers will finish up with a 3- or 6-mile run around the lake on a flat crushed granite trail with water stops along the way. Olmpic events consist of two laps of each triathlon segment.
