Fort Union Rendezvous Run - Williston, North Dakota - Running

The Fort Union Rendezvous Run is a Running race in Williston, North Dakota consisting of a Half Marathon Trail Run and 1 Mile Trail Run and 11K Trail Run and 5K Trail Run.

Williston Parks and Recreation District along with Stropiq, Inc. welcome you to participate in the Annual Fort Union Rendezvous Run. The race will be held at Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site.

Fort Union is located on the North Dakota/Montana border, approximately 25 miles Southwest of Williston, ND and 24 miles North of Sidney, MT. Just remember, Fort Union is in Central time zone. The Fort overlooks the confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers, the route of the Lewis & Clark Expedition.

Competition is open to all levels of ability. Fun runners are welcome! Events include a 1-mile Kids run (12 & under), 1-mile Fur Traders Run/Walk (period dress required), 5k run & 5k walk, 11k run, and a Half Marathon. All races start and finish at Fort Union. The Half marathon route will pass through Fort Buford, continue to the Confluence Center and the route will run along the river. The 11k route will pass through Fort Buford and turn around to go back to Fort Union. The course is flat and very fast.
