The Fairfax USA Days Bridge The Community 5K is a Running race in Fairfax, Iowa consisting of a 5K.

The course is completely in town including the new trail and bridge. Be a part of this family-friendly race and celebrate the Anniversary of Fairfax USA Days! The benefit of the race is Fairfax Lions Club whose mission is to support local projects, leader dog programs, and vision/hearing screening. This is a professionally timed event. Race statistics will be uploaded by the end of the day. The course begins and ends at the City Hall parking lot. The first 1/2 mile runs through Fairfax's newer developments up a long gentle hill towards the water tower and then down a long straight stretch of E. Cemetery Rd to the trail, across the trail bridge over Prairie Creek and a loop in old Fairfax before returning to City Hall via the trail bridge. No highway crossings and route is well marked on low traffic streets and trails.
