The Destin Vets Day 5K is a Running race in Destin, Florida consisting of a 5K.
An annual 5K with the mission to help enrich the lives of local veterans. Proceeds from the race go to the local chapters of Building Homes for Heroes, Team RWB, and The American Legion.
The race is held the second weekend of November. It is a nice flat course that starts at The American Legion on Main Street in Destin, and goes up to Indian Trail. The finish line is at The American Legion.
The post-race party features food from local restaurants, raffle items from local merchants and restaurants, beer, and the awards ceremony for the top finishers in each category.
