It is a great season opener filled with some climbs, lots of flat, and some singletrack. A lot of people show up to this race and was a fun atmosphere for racing!

I was a bit disappointed by the organization of the event, being one of the first waves after the first lap the 2nd lap was like temple run trying to dodge and get around the 200+ junior racers. It felt dangerous and the last thing us racers want is to collide with someone else. Also the protesting regulations were over the top, after finishing top 5 in my cat, I ended up 20th because of parents fighting over whos kid crossed the finish line first, I was quite disappointed after seeing my name in top 5 then going down to 20th. I am sure I wasn't the only one upset about this. Also I had to call after the race about my plate number and name because me and two other people just didnt show up in the final printout of results. I have never been to a usa Cycling event with this many issues but maybe it is just the way they run it.
