Great first Triathlon

I participated in this Triathlon last year 2018. It was my first triathlon and since then I have done one other Triathlon so I do have something to compare it to. I thought this event was well organized and well planned out. There were plenty of volunteers to help and the course was well marked. I also liked that you did not have to go far from the swim to T1. The T shirt was awesome last year and my favorite race tee of the many that I do have (I have done a lot of runs). The only thing I didnt care too much for was the medal and the post race food. The medal is a piece of carved wood thats not really anything special. It looks like a medal you might get for a little 5k race. I also dont remember any post race food. I know there was free beer but I dont remember any post race fruit and snacks.
