I have been involved with the BHVM for the past 5 years. I have completed the mini march three times and the full march once. I have also volunteered at rest stop number 5 and have provided Totton Angus Beef for the runners for the past 5 years. We have also advocated to have beef at the finish line because beef fueles champions! Every year we meet new friends and also get to see our old friends. This has become quite the family affair; my wife, mother-in-law, siter, and cousins volunteer; my two daughters, niece, and son-in-laws run the race and in 2019 we think we will have additional family attending to include the honorary starter, my uncle who is a WWII Veteran. The scenery is some of the best that you can find anywhere in the nation! The people that come out for this event are genuine great humans.
