Course has been altered from previous years due to events at the Loomis Chaffee school. It is a double loop with a few inclines, not too crazy. Part of the course you are running a paved trail by the Farmington River that allows for some nice views! Preregistered runners get a nice tshirt. The check in process was easy for preregistered and seemed to move quickly for day of registrants. A large group of girls (Girls in stride) ran and was nice to see the girls helping each other. There was alos a 1.5 mile walk if you prefer to participate, but not do 3 miles. Weather was great too! After the race the Shad Derby starts with booths, food, beer garden, and a parade. Very nice run, join next year for the 50th running of the race!
