The Ashenfelter 8K has been my Thanksgiving morning tradition for ten or more years. As the participation increases with each year, the organizers manage to keep the event enjoyable by taking such steps as improving the packet pick up, changing the start line, adjusting the course route, providing enhanced security and making other improvements. Oh, and the shirt is one of the best perks and just about one of the best among other events. Great design, well tailored, and comfortably manufactured. This race is a fun time and a bargain to boot.
