50 mile runners have a 14 hour cut off! 50k runners...you should be done within this time frame as well! Annual Wambaw Swamp Stomp is a 50k/50 mile trail race within the Francis Marion National Forest outside of Charleston, South Carolina.

Participants will run on a section of the 43 mile long Swamp Fox Passage. Roughly nine miles of the trail are also part of the Jericho Horse Trail.

This year features a NEW course! Participants will run on the Swamp Fox Passage...10.25 miles NORTH of Witherbee Ranger Station followed by a shorter out and back of 5 miles SOUTH of Witherbee Ranger Station. 50k Participants travel this route once and 50 mile Participants have to travel the 10.25 mile distance a second time to get their 50 miles.
