One of the coldest races I have ever run!!! I was bundled up with hot hands and several layers on my body and I STILL felt Frost-bitten! I was not the biggest fan of the course this year because you ended with a lot of hills in Central Park, which was very hard! I wish it started in Central Park and ended in Brooklyn. Can this be changed to next years course (in this format)?

"This was my first half marathon. It was REALLY cold out. I didn't start to feel my feet until around mile 5. The aide stations were perfectly placed (However, I almost ran into a couple people because they would stop in the middle of the race by the aide stations) When I first went to pick up my registration packet, I could only make it the last day so I didn't get the size shirt I wanted or the freebies (and for it being the NYC half I would have thought it would be more prepared) AND for the price you pay to get in, I would have liked my shirt size! The atmosphere of the race was amazing. Running through the streets of NYC it was pretty spectacular, the fans were great and my fellow racers were even encouraging. The course was awesome. The only difficult part was the couple of hills in Central Park. One thing at the end is it's pretty impossible to find anyone if you don't have your cell phone or a meeting place. OVERALL, AWESOME RACE. Already signed up for my next half."
