The Turkey Trot 10K/5K is a Running race in Newark, Delaware consisting of a 10K and 5K.
The 5K and 10K Runs and 5K Walk will be held at Handloff Park on Barksdale Rd in Newark. Part of the proceeds go towards the James F. Hall Scholarship Fund to provide tuition assistance to youth who would otherwise be unable to participate in activities and programs through Newark Parks and Recreation Department. Once again this year the Ancient Order of Hibernians will be collecting coats that will be distributed to people in need throughout the area. Anyone interested in making a donation may bring coats in good condition the morning of the race.
