This was my second time running the boa Chicago marathon. This is great for first timers participating because the land is flat and the volunteers and crows are amazing. The crowd and volunteer are really what makes the boa a great and energetic experience. Only downside if the medals are not

This was a great race for a beginner runner. Also great for walkers and those looking to just have fun. The course was challenging but not too challenging. There were plenty of pre and post race activities to take part in which is always a nice added touch. And the margaritas

The race took place on one of the windiest and coldest day of the year, however, there was plenty of spectators to get by. They were loud and positive. The course is relatively flat but I train in Atlanta ;) Great race and lots of post race restaurants to choose
