The Cape Fear 16 at Riverlights is a Triathlon race in Wilmington, North Carolina consisting of a Sprint.
Swim: The swim takes place in the 38-acre man-made lake that meanders through the RiverLights community. Participants will enjoy the fresh clean water compliments of the underground Cape Fear aquifer, the water source for the lake. The lake's unique shape means that the width ranges from about 25 yards across to as much as 75 yards. The run trail, which completely encircles the lake, will provide spectators with unparalleled opportunities to follow swimmers through the entire length of the half-mile swim course.
