I'm from Chicago and have completed numerous races including a marathon. This was a challenging race because of the uphill runs and it felt great to push myself not knowing the path well or the layout of the city. It was nice to see more of Toledo and running over the

"Overall a very positive experience. Here are my thoughts:

Pros

1) I liked the race course. Although I know it wasn't easy because of the hills, what goes up must comes down. The first few miles had a good amount of hills but they weren't too steep, and going downhill was really helpful.

This event was so good. I signed up the day after the race for next years race in 2022. Yes, it was that good and it rained so hard during the awards ceremony that everyone had to run for their cars.
