Lakes Country Triathlon - Baxter, Minnesota - Triathlon

The Lakes Country Triathlon is a Triathlon race in Baxter, Minnesota consisting of a Super Sprint.

Great news - Inglewood is paved and smooth! The Kiwanis Club of Baxter is proud to continue and enhance the tradition of this beautiful and exciting triathlon. The Brainerd Lakes area has long been a great vacation destination and now we have one of the premier Sprint Triathlons as well! The Lakes Country Triathlon continues to build into one of the best triathlons in the state.
We hope you will enjoy the great bike course that is over the river and through the woods and now smooth. We will again be using Cedar Scenic Drive and heading west. It will be a beautiful ride with very little traffic.
The race begins with a 1/4-mile swim in quiet Whipple Lake (known for its calm waters), then switches to a 14-mile bike through the rolling hills surrounding the Baxter/Brainerd Lakes area, and ends with a very flat 3.2 mile run through a quiet residential area. The Lakes Country Triathlon is a great race, be it your first or fiftieth!

Proceeds raised from this event will be put back into the community to benefit the youth in the Lakes Area and Kiwanis charities.
