The Canton Tri & 5K Classic is a Triathlon race in Canton, Illinois consisting of a Sprint, and Running race consisting of a 5K

Open water swimming takes place in Strode Lake from a temporary sand beach. All running is held on paved roads and trails. The bike routes exit the park and follow paved, rolling country roads. A common, controlled transition area is used by all. The 5K runs 3.1 miles out and back along our beautiful community trail.
*triathlon: 500 yard swim, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run.
*youth tri: 200 yard swim, 4.5 mile bike, 1 mile run.
*5K: 3.1 mile run
