Swim
The Swim Exit is directly next to T1! The swim will be a rolling start. It will begin at the ramp at the west end of the lake, in front of the Tempe Center for the Arts. Athletes will swim towards the pedestrian bridge and then cross the lake to the north. Once on the north side, athletes will take a right turn to swim east, turning back south approximately near Tempe Boat Beach. Athletes will exit the water just west of the Mill Ave Bridges using the floating dock in front of Tempe Beach Park. Athletes will head a few steps across the path into Transition.

Bike
The relatively flat, three-loop bike course winds through the streets of Tempe, giving each athlete a glimpse of some of the best that Tempe has to offer. While there are a few sharp turn arounds, this course is sure to surprise athletes with how fast their splits are!
