Tackle Trauma 5K - Tempe, Arizona - Running

The Tackle Trauma 5K is a Running race in Tempe, Arizona consisting of a 5K.

Participation in the event helped to raise funds for trauma research and injury prevention in the state of Arizona. We are pleased to hold this event each year and it is a truly unique and meaningful collaboration of multiple trauma centers across the state.

Traumatic injury is the leading cause of death for all children and adults until age 46. Whether it is a car accident or a fall from a ladder, countless people and families are affected by trauma. Treatment of life-threatening injuries at designated trauma centers can lower the risk of death by 25%. Unfortunately, nearly 45 million Americans do not have access to this specialized care. The Arizona Trauma Association is proud to represent trauma centers across Arizona!
