The Springtime 10K is a Running race in Tallahassee, Florida consisting of a 5K.
Annual Springtime 10K will be held. The 10K/5K races are on USATF certified courses, beginning on Monroe St. in downtown Tallahassee in front of the Leon County Courthouse and covering rolling hills through the beautiful Myers Park neighborhood before ending next to Cascades Park.
The 1 mile race will begin at 7:45 a.m., followed by the 10K and 5K races starting at 8:10 a.m. Immediately following the race finish, celebrate your race with friends and family at the Springtime Post-Race Party in downtown Tallahassee. The post-race party will include many vendors to visit, music and refreshments for all finishers.

Finish and Festival at FDOT Parking Lot (across from Cascades Park)
COURSE CUT-OFF TIME AND EVENT TIMING
The 1 mile race will start at 7:45 a.m. (ET) and the 10K/5K will start at 8:10 a.m. The official cut-off time for the 10K/5K is 10:10 a.m. This gives participants two hours to run or walk the course. The course will be unsupported after this time. Unsupported means that police will not be available to stop traffic at intersections and runners will be responsible for their own safety.
aElectronic timing will be used and timing mats will be located at the start/finish area. All participants will receive both a gun time and a net time.

FINISHING MEDALS
Finishing medals will be provided for the first 1000 finishers for the 10K only. 5K and 1 Mile finishers do not receive a medal.
AWARDS
All awards are based on gun time.
Monetary awards of $150, $100 and $75 for the first three overall male/female 10K finishers and $75 for the first male/female master and grandmaster 10K finishers. No monetary awards are provided for the 5K or 1 mile.
Traditional five-year age group 3 deep awards for the 10K beginning with age 9 and under and continuing to 70+. Ten-year age group 3 deep awards for the 5K beginning with age 9 and under and continuing to 70+, including masters and grandmasters categories for both genders are provided. The overall male/female finishers for the 1 mile will receive a gift card to Capital City Runners.
WHEELCHAIR ATHLETES
Wheelchair competitors are welcomed at the Springtime 10K. They will start a few minutes before the open field. Wheelchair participants must pre-register at least two weeks prior to the race so we can make proper arrangements. Please contact the race directors if you intend to participate.
