The Silver Strand Half Marathon is a Running race in Coronado, California consisting of a Half Marathon and 5K Walk.
Annual Silver Strand Half Marathon & 5K. The ONLY Run with the waves of the Pacific Ocean on your right and the San Diego Bay on your left, finishing with a California Beach Party! Run along the Silver Strand, from Coronado to Imperial Beach! Coronado Island is located just across the bridge from downtown San Diego. The Half Marathon & 10 mile course is limited to 5000 participants.
The course has been modified this year and no longer goes through the IB Navy base with speed bumps so now all can enjoy the 1/2 marathon route.
