The Sasquatch Trail Race is a Running race in Venice, Florida consisting of a 10K and 15K and 5K Trail Run.
The races will start at 8:00 am and the course will have a time limit of 4 hours. All participants can receive a copy of their appropriate course map on race day.
Each course will be marked with colored arrows that are unique to that distance, so that runners know they are on the correct course.
I came across this race while looking for some kind of trail run in the Venice, FL area. I'm an older guy, used to run gnarly, low-key trail runs in Colorado...moved on to the 50 typical runners hanging out having a good time. Food and beverage more More...
This race had good timing, water and that is about it. The course in my for me or anyone that likes a 5K race. Too many turns and not marked well at all.
The metal was a little piece of wood that is about 1.5 inches.
