Paw Paw Cross-Country Open 5K - Rivesville, West Virginia - Running

The Paw Paw Cross-Country Open 5K is a Running race in Rivesville, West Virginia consisting of a 5K.

The course is a challenging combination of hills and wooded area around the fairgrounds with 400-500 meter stretch along the gravel roadway. This event is the perfect opportunity for coaches to test out new talent and for everyone to experience the phenomenon that is cross-country running. The event will be held rain or shine. So, there could be mud involved.
Awards: There will be a custom trophy for the overall male and female finishers and similar medals for the top two male and female finishers in each of the following age classes:
-Grade School (age 13 and under)
-High School (age 14 to 18)
-Open (age 19 to 54)
-Masters (age 55 and up)
Timing: The meet will be old-school hand-timed as this is an inaugural event and to raise money for upgrades at the Rivesville Elementary/Middle School
