The Run for Rett is a Running race in Olympia, Washington consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.
The annual Run for Rett 5K Run, 5K walk, and Kids Dash takes place on a scenic course along Capitol Lake. It begins at the Tumwater Historical Park and utilizes the trails in the park and along the lake for a beautiful run or walk. There is only one hill up with a gradual hill down on an otherwise flat and fast course. You finish the last half mile running along the lake with music & cheers motivating you to cross the finish line. The event supports the Northwest Rett Syndrome Foundation, a local organization for families who have children with Rett Syndrome.
