About The Snail's Pace Race 5K

The Snail's Pace Race 5K is a Running race in Mercer Island, Washington consisting of a 5K.

This is an inaugural event for Mercer Island and we are hoping many of you and your friends can join us. This is a 5k on our home XC course at Luther Burbank but is open to all families, IMS runners, MIHS alumni and of course our current roster of MIXC. It is a mere $15 to enter if you pre-register, there will be fun prizes, and it will be a great way for those new to MIXC to get a sneak peak at our course. I highly encourage all who are in town to participate, even if not a lick of running has been done this summerKeep Reading because you and/ or your offspring could merely jog/ walk it and still enjoy the beautiful course. I do recommend runners bring a beach towel because if the weather stays as warm as it's been I can guarantee you many will jump in the lake afterwards.
