The 5K Angel Run is a Running race in Virginia Beach, Virginia consisting of a 5K.

This is one of two major fundraiser events for Kennedy's Angel Gowns. Families remember and honor the child they lost, support one another, and build community.



We choose to hold the annual 5K Angel Run in October because it is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. The event extends awareness into our communities across Hampton Roads, reaching new families, fitness-focused individuals, and more to share our cause.



Whether walking, running or purchasing a keepsake sign in honor of their child, bereaved families that attend always find a community that understands their journey. Friends support these families, and others simply enjoy the 5K while supporting a good cause. While the cause is heartfelt, surrounding a somber life event, the 5K Angel Run is a lively, fun event. We compel businesses, neighborhoods, and schools to participate! The post-race party attracts spectators with live music, fun activities, retail and community vendors, and food for all ages.
