About The Ragnar Trail Richmond
The Ragnar Trail Richmond is a Running race in Richmond, Virginia consisting of a 125 Mile Relay (Ultra).
Ragnar Trail has joined forces with Sports Backers to bring you Ragnar Trail Richmond. This wild, fun and rewarding overnight trail running experience takes place just outside of Richmond at Pocahontas State Park.
Your team of 8 runners will go over the river and through the woods to set up camp at Ragnar Village and prepare to conquer a series of three pristine trail loops, relay-style.
As each runner sets off, you can expect to catch glimpses of the shimmering lake views of both Beaver Lake and Swift Creek Lake through the deep foliage. As the sun sets, the race doesn't stop. Runners keep going beneath a canopyKeep Reading of a billion stars overhead and watch the moon rise.
Back home at Ragnar Village you can rest your legs next to the campfire, chow down on s'mores, and relax with your team. This year, runners are welcome to join us one night earlier, starting on Thursday for a bonus day of camping, campfires, kumbaya-ing and fun!
Ragnar Trail is like summer camp for grownups. Any level of runner can come conquer the trails as you find yourself in this journey of adventure, self-discovery, and sheer nature-loving goodness.
