About The Lynchburg Half Marathon

The Lynchburg Half Marathon is a Running race in Lynchburg, Virginia consisting of a Half Marathon and 5K.

Experience why Lynchburg was named a Runner Friendly Community by the Road Runners Club of America. Yes...we host a Half Marathon in August. Finisher medal to the first 300 that complete the half distance, chip timed, technical shirt, and part of the Lynchburg Road Runners Race Series. Summer fun in Lynchburg! If 13.1 is a bit much, consider the Lynchburg 5k (flat/fast) out and back course on the Blackwater Creek bikeway. Race #7 of the Lynchburg Road Runners Race Series.
