The Run So Others May See will provide a fun opportunity for you to support an extraordinary organization: The Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts Pro Bono Clinic is situated in Brookland, Washington, D.C., and serves the uninsured population of the city through its eyecare and physical therapy clinics.

Many residents of the Metro D.C. area suffer from diabetes, and those with limited access to health care services are at the highest risk for developing complications. Diabetes is a complex disease affecting many functions of the body. In an effort to help prevent complications, the Pro Bono Clinic offers a Diabetic Clinic once a month. During this clinic the Physical Therapy staff performs a screen of the lower legs, identifying individuals at risk for diabetic neuropathy and peripheral artery disease. At the same time, Dr. Keith Wroblewski performs an eye screen for diabetic retinopathy.
