This Richmond Road Runner Club 10-mile trail run starts and ends at Bear Creek Lake State Park in Cumberland, Virginia (about 45 minutes from Richmond). The loop course passes through the Piedmont Hills of Cumberland State Forest and Bear Creek Lake State Park. Participation is capped because of limitations on parking.
The Bear Creek 10 Miler is a RRRC Championship Event for the 2017 Grand Prix Competition Year. The first male and first female RRRC member in one of four division will be awarded the designation of Club Champion for the contested distance for the year.
