About The Bear Creek 10M Trail Run
The Bear Creek 10M Trail Run is a Running race in Cumberland, Virginia consisting of a 10 Mile Trail Run.
This Richmond Road Runner Club 10-mile trail run starts and ends at Bear Creek Lake State Park in Cumberland, Virginia (about 45 minutes from Richmond). The loop course passes through the Piedmont Hills of Cumberland State Forest and Bear Creek Lake State Park. Participation is capped because of limitations on parking.
The Bear Creek 10 Miler is a RRRC Championship Event for the 2017 Grand Prix Competition Year. The first male and first female RRRC member in one of four division will be awarded the designation of Club Champion for the contested distance for the year. The divisions are: Open Division (any age), Masters Division (40-49 on race day), andKeep Reading Veterans Division (age 50 and over on race day). It is also a RRRC Grand Prix event.
