Established 1976, the Charlottesville Ten Miler is the area's oldest & most prestigious footrace. This wonderful race traverses some of the most beautiful scenery of Charlottesville, including the dogwood-lined streets of the University of Virginia's Grounds and surrounding neighborhoods, and the brick-paved paths of the Downtown Mall, Court Square and 'the Corner'. This not-for-profit race has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local charities over the past 40 years.
The primary beneficiary of the Charlottesville Ten Miler is Computers4Kids. The secondary beneficiaries are the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Charlottesville, Girl Scouts of the Virginia Skyline, and Running Club at UVA.
