The Active for Autism 5K is a Running race in Alexandria, Virginia consisting of a 5K and 0.5 Mile Kids Run/Fun Run.
Organization for Autism Research will be hosting the first annual Active For Autism 5K! This 5K will help spread autism awareness while raising money to fund new research, help award scholarships to students on the spectrum, and provide free resources to families and educators.
The race is family and autism friendly featuring a safe, flat, out and back course along the Potomac Yard Trail in Alexandria, VA.
First time running the Active for Autism 5kK and let me just say it was a great experience!

- Great snacks for after the race
- Entertaining MC and terrific music
- Flat course
I'll definitely run again next year!
