I thought the general layout and organization of the race was simple and straightforward. The competitors ranged from young first timers to aged veterans. There were university level triathletes competing next to those trying to complete their first of hopefully many triathlons. It was very friendly and fun but when it

I absolutely had a blast during this race. The Race Expo was very engaging and informative. The views along the course were awesome especially when going over the bridge. I had a blast (and a laugh too) seeing all the costumes that people were wearing.

Nothing super special about the race itself (although, it was wonderfully flat) but it was pretty cool as part of the Nebraska State Fair. You can basically run the race, take a shower (they offer free showers there), and then wander the state fair eating fried oreos and other fun
