"I've run the River Edge 5K Run for the past 3 years. There's something about this race that keeps me coming back. Bobbie the Race Director does an excellent job year after year. Below are my comments about the River Edge 5K Run.

Pros:
Nice course
Very well orgainized
Easy registration

All the distances of this race are worth running. The trails at Independence Oaks are challenging and the Back Roads are rolling hills. The scenery is gorgeous at this time of year, and the after party is great, with music, the famous Union Mac n cheese (the Clarkston Union was featured

I thought the race was really well managed and was impressed that they were able to clear out the remaining half-marathoners to allow for us to get started.

I thought the packet pickup was a bit of a mess though. Not inside the expo but getting there was a nightmare b
