1st time competing in this race. From the easy to find parking lot right in front of the starting line and race expo area to the well organized volunteers, everything made this race fun and worthwhile. The course was well marked with water at every mile and road condition

Letas face it, there is nothing else like this! Start in Muskegon and run by sandy beaches on the Great Lakes, awesome late summer temps - warm in the afternoon and cool at night, quaint lakeside towns, beautiful woodland roads and farm country, and a fantastic party awaits you in Traverse

Still one of my top 5 favorite 5K races. Well organized run on a beautiful course. Digital mile time clocks were spot on. Beer, (limit two beers) watermelon, pretzels at the finish line. If you registered early enough you had your name on your race bib. I like that.
