About: This race is in memory of Lisa Shampoe.... She was an employee/friend of mine who passed away battling Cancer. She was 40 years old. I started this event to remember Lisa and to help raise money to help others battling this terrible disease. Over the last 10 years we have donated over $41,000 total to various organizations (Cancer Society, United Way, MD Anderson). All proceeds minus direct race expenses are donated to help others.
