The South Belt 5K is a Running race in Houston, Texas consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 1K and 5K.
The Bayway Auto Group South Belt 5K benefits the Barry E Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund. The event includes the 5K run/walk/stroller roll (7 am) and a 1K kid's fun run (8 am). The race starts on the campus of J. Frank Dobie High School, continues into neighboring El Franco Lee Park, and finishes back on Dobie's campus.
The course is USATF certified.
