The City of Garland will host the Garland Guzzler 0.5K Race at Downtown Garland Square. That's no typo; this is a POINT 5K which is only...546 yards, 500 meters or 1,638 feet and we want to see you there!

This is a chip-timed event that will help you train for that marathon you may or may not ever run. There are plenty of overnight accommodations near the course so you can rest comfortably after an evening of to much fun. Oh, and don't forget the race SWAG; you will be the highlight of your local establishment with your custom race medal, slide-on medal, and race shirt. The slide-on medal fits perfectly over last year's base medal. Didn't run last year? Never fear, you can add on the base medal during registration or purchase one at the race itself. We have a few other surprises in the works so stay tuned to our social media platforms as details become available.

Join your fellow racers for an evening of Oktoberfest themed racing, games, food, and of course live music. We hope to see everyone on their best or wurst behavior. This event is a dog-friendly event, so bring your best friend in their best costume to help you run across the finish line!
