The Backpack Buddies 5K is a Running race in Bowie, Texas consisting of a 5K.
Fun run event for all ages, come run or walk and donate to a great cause.
Event will be held during the annual Chicken and Bread Days Heritage Festival, which is a family fun filled event, kids games, food, crafts, live entertainment, art show, quilt show, kids coop inflatables, Piston Heads Auto Club car show and the all-time favorite Fiddler's Contest.
Backpack Buddies Club is a ministry which focuses on providing food to economically disadvantaged children in Bowie Schools. Food is placed discreetly into the children's backpack weekly while at school.
