AISD Super Saver Fun Run - Arlington, Texas - Running

The AISD Super Saver Fun Run is a Running race in Arlington, Texas consisting of a 5K.

The Arlington ISD Energy Management Department encourages a Live Green activity each year for AISD students and teachers to raise awareness about environmental issues. This event will be at River Legacy Park. There are two goals for the event: promote environmental awareness and a healthier lifestyle for students, and raise money for future energy-awareness activities in the district.

Thanks to the efforts of the AISD Energy Committee, comprised of representatives from every school and auxiliary building in the AISD, the district reduced its utility cost over the past five years by almost $4 million! Every dollar saved on energy costs is a dollar that can be used to benefit AISD students in the classroom.
