The Rhode Island Optimism Walk & 5K is a Running race in East Greenwich, Rhode Island consisting of a 5K.

Each year, the Rhode Island Chapter of the APDA holds this event to help raise money to support scientific research into the cause and cure of Parkinson's disease and to support families living with this disease. Whether you are able to join us, sponsor us, or support a beautiful event, we thank you for your participation. The event is an official 5K Race and 1.5 Mile Walk, however, walkers can walk any part of this or choose to enjoy the beautiful day and the many other activities. Come out for a fun-filled, family day and make a difference in the lives of those with Parkinson's disease!
