About The Run for Hope 5K

The Run for Hope 5K is a Running race in Easton, Pennsylvania consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

In response to the severe suffering of the Congolese-from rape used as a weapon of war, homes destroyed, lives lost-Restoring Hope Ministries birthed. This ministry, through partnerships, is committed to restoring Congolese survivors through trauma healing. Once the Congolese emerge with greater spiritual and emotional health, in many cases, they lack the skills and knowledge to pursue a vocational direction. The Training Center is currently being built in Dungu, where our partner church is located. It will prepare now strengthened Congolese to engage their previously untapped gifts in ways that can feed their families and add value to their communities.
