The Lord's Acre 10K/5K is a Running race in Powell Butte, Oregon consisting of a 10K and 5K.
The Lord's Acre started 72 years ago as a church fundraiser. With donations from 1 acre of a farmers/rancher's operations, funds
raised were utilized to pay off the churches mortgage. Lord's Acre was such a success that it has continued ever since. Funds
generated now are placed in three areas: missions, capital improvements and college scholarships. Preparations for the annual event occur year-round. The day of the event includes: craft and bake sales, and an auction which includes sales of hand-made quilts.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the concert and other activities. Lunch consists of a pit cooked beef, lamb, and pork meal served fresh with all the trimmings.
