The Ashland Monster Dash Run for Education consists of a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk, followed by the 5K run/walk and the 10K run. The race course for all three runs follows the perimeter of Lithia Park, a beautiful 93 acre park in downtown Ashland, Oregon that was recently named one of America's 10 Great Public Spaces for 2014 by the American Planning Association. Southern Oregon is fast becoming one of the premiere running destinations of the Northwest; and Ashland, specifically, has been identified by Running Times magazine as the ultra-distance running mecca of the U. S. and Outside magazine named Ashland the Best Town in America for Trail Running.
