"Overall Great Race....and Great Cause"

Overall, well organized race and great course. A few suggestions/thoughts for next year to make it even better to further the cause:

1. Ensure that the employees at the package pickup location are well informed. I drove 25 miles (one way) to Academy South and they had no information about More... package pickup and said to come back at 6 p.m. (vs. 3 pm as written on the website and media).
2. Use a timing chip on the bib. This makes for an easier race and line up based on your time at the start.
3. Have clear information on when (and where) the results will be posted. 24 hours after the race, I cannot find the results (nor have a response on the facebook page)
4. The raffle was a great surprise and wonderful gifts. In order to ensure fairness, I would recommend that a pull off tab is placed on the bib and that way each runner has one chance to win. Additionally, it may be good to have an age limit for the drawings as a 10-11 year old won a gift card for time at a gun range. And many of the underage runners submitted their names multiple times.
5. Consider changing the start time for the 5k to 7 a.m. vs. 8:30 a.m. and move the 1 miler to 7:30.....this would help in the heat.

These are just minor suggestions to make this race even better. I love the cause and thank the OKC firefighters for all they do!!
