Wilmington Volksmarch - Wilmington, Ohio - Running

The Wilmington Volksmarch is a Running race in Wilmington, Ohio consisting of a 5K.

Join us for a community event to provide support to our armed forces veterans. The Third Annual Wilmington Volksmarch will benefit Ohio Veterans Outdoors, an IRS 501(c)(3) Non-profit whose Mission is to Promote wounded and disabled veteran health and wellness through outdoor experiences and education. The funds raised will allow Ohio Veterans Outdoors to take veterans fishing throughout the summer. Find out more at ohvetsoutdoors.org or find them on Facebook.

The Wilmington Volksmarch is for the entire family (kids 12 and under FREE) and is a show of solidarity between the community and our veterans. The event will be a multi-stop, interactive 5K walk along asphalt trails and streets through Wilmington. Once you check in and get your Volksmarch Punchcard, we will bus you from the J. W. Denver Williams Memorial Park to the start of the walk. The walk will take you through our five Volksmarch checkpoints, to collect your stamps, and you will finish back at the registration area in the park. Water and other goodies will be provided along the route and a special Volksmarch prize is earned with your completed Punchcard. There will also be prizes raffled and other activities at the finish.
