The West Akron 5K is a Running race in Akron, Ohio consisting of a 1 Mile and 5K.


The Annual West Akron 5K is fast approaching. After the success of the Inaugural Run/Walk, we are looking forward to exceeding last year's participation. Come help support our community!!! We are extremely excited to present the Annual West Akron 5K Run/Walk in collaboration with The Gus Johnson Community Foundation. This collaboration aims to bring a community together while raising funds to create a spirit of health, wellness and philanthropy for the students and surrounding neighborhood at John R. Buchtel High School. Proceeds from race events are donated to the Buchtel High School's stadium fund.
