Jog For The Dogs 5K - Akron, Ohio - Running

The Jog For The Dogs 5K is a Running race in Akron, Ohio consisting of a 5K.

Come join us in celebrating our one year anniversary with our annual 5k fun run and walk. The run will take place at Akron Dog Park located at 499 Memorial Pkwy, Akron OH. The race will start at 10:00am with packet pick-up starting at 9:00am. All ages and breeds welcome! All dogs must be on a standard leash, 6' max length. No retractable leashes will be allowed. Strollers are welcome; however the course is not the most stroller friendly. The course starts off on the Towpath and veers off to a trail leading to the Dog Park, if rainy the course could be muddy, dress accordingly. The event will be timed with awards for top runners. All participants will receive a short sleeve t-shirt. The human finishers will receive a finisher medal, while the K9 finishers will be receiving a tug toy. Parking is limited, car pooling is highly recommended.
