I love this race - I've done it 3 times. This area of NH is so beautiful. Lake is crystal clear - just amazing. Be sure you have smoked goggles if sunny because you turn and swim into the sun. Bike course has a couple tough climbs

I was so excited to run this race. I even arrived early to pick a big pumpkin and run with it. The race course was fun, it was a beautiful settings, and the obstacles were very simple (except the last one) and perfect for completing while holding a pumpkin.

"Fun 5k through midtown and into Central Park. Has a great marathon-week vibe, with runners from all over the world warming up for the big day.

Packet pick-up at the Javits Center is a pain, especially given the marathon crowds, but understandable for those doing both. Coming from Bkln and
