Feet for the Street 5K - Winston-Salem, North Carolina - Running

The Feet for the Street 5K is a Running race in Winston-Salem, North Carolina consisting of a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run.

The Feet for the Street 5K was created to raise awareness and much needed financial support for the Winston-Salem Street School, a private, nonprofit alternative educational option for at-risk high school students in the Forsyth County area. The Street School combines small class sizes, caring, individualized attention, and an unwavering belief that the students we serve, when given a second chance, can not only thrive in high school, but be better prepared for success in life as well. This race takes place on the beautiful Winston-Salem Greenway, starting and ending at the Salem Lake section of the trail. This flat, paved course is fun for all participants, from experienced runners to walkers looking to support Street School programs. A water station will be on the course, near the half-way point. Custom designed t-shirts, refreshments, and awards for overall and age group winners will be provided for participants.
